The annual NatureFest in Arunachal Pradesh is a testament to the state's commitment to celebrating and preserving its rich biodiversity. Taking place in the picturesque village of Zemithang, this premier event is a convergence of experts, conservationists, and local communities, all united in their passion for the region's flora and fauna.
Organized by the Jagrav Foundation in association with Agola Sons Foundation , Nature Festival offers a diverse range of activities aimed at raising awareness about the conservation of endemic wildlife species, particularly the Red Panda. Participants can look forward to engaging expert talks, bird watching tours, photography exhibitions, cultural showcases, and even skill-building workshops for local communities to empower them as stewards of the environment.

Its main objectives are
Enhance Public Awareness : The festival endeavors to heighten public consciousness and comprehension about the conservation status of the Red Panda and other endemic wildlife species in Arunachal Pradesh, emphasizing the importance of preserving their natural habitats.
Promotion of Ecotourism : Attract nature enthusiasts, bird watchers, wildlife photographers, and conservationists to explore the biodiversity hotspot of Zemithang, fostering sustainable tourism practices and supporting local communities for economic development of the region.
Education and Engagement : Offer educational opportunities to local community and participants through guided birding and mammal watching tours, interactive workshops, and expert talks on wildlife conservation, photography techniques, and the ecological significance of the region.
